My name is Alexis Triana and I have worked at Florida Power & Light since 2001 in various roles. I attended Florida International University for my Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and later attended Nova Southeastern University for my MBA. I am a Senior Process Specialist and my current areas of responsibility are Customer Service processes related to customers starting, stopping, or transferring electric service. In addition I am also responsible for Security & Confidentiality and Account Maintenance processes.
Currently I am involved in a large effort to completely redesign the FPL.com website and its applications. The team is using the Agile Scrum methodology and I am serving as a Product Owner for various components of the site. So far the team has redesigned our homepage, registration process, and account summary applications. This year we have updated the processes to start stop or move electric service. All of the processes are using responsive web design and we are now begining to develope or mobile app using scrum agile.
