Agile Training for the Budget Constrained

A Scrum training schedule using YouTube

16 May 2016

I had the opportunity to stand up a Scrum framework while working with an awesome, albeit small, development team that created great web apps for a good cause. Having an Agile training budget of zero and a time allowance during business hours for a two-day deep dive, I put together the following schedule from hours and hours of YouTube viewing. One tip: Having acted as the product owner (PO) and the team’s servant leader ScrumMaster (SM), I recommend you always have a separate and dedicated PO and SM!

That aside, we let this information inform us in our Scrum practice and lead us into discovering how to work as a high-performing Scrum team, continue the training and practice throughout the company, and achieve our goal to release more often using a pattern whereby we always strive for continuous improvement. If you, too, are struggling to improve your practices, I hope this compilation of YouTube gems in the attached pdf helps you along your way.
