Industry-Leading Coaches and Trainers

A benefit of holding a Scrum Alliance certification is having access to industry-leading Coaches and Trainers. Whether you are getting your first certification or continuing your education on your path to becoming a Certified Scrum Professional, your training comes from the best and most recognized Scrum and agile Coaches and Trainers.

Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs) play a vital role within Scrum Alliance, delivering inspirational Scrum courses to agile learners in over 80 countries. The CST journey requires deep, practical real-world Scrum and agile knowledge, with a requirement to demonstrate excellence in training and facilitation. The Scrum Alliance path to becoming a CST is the most rigorous in the industry, and is taught by passionate educators who are dedicated to providing a world-renowned certification.

CSTs meet rigorous certification requirements to ensure that those who are most qualified to meet this commitment are entrusted to engage in this role on behalf of Scrum Alliance. We insist on excellent trainers because we believe that agile courses have the power to reshape the way people think about the world of work.

Scrum Alliance holds the same standard for our Certified Agile Coaches as we do for CSTs. As the largest, nonprofit certification body in the agile space, Scrum Alliance provides the most reputable certifications that professionalize agile coaching. Our Certified Agile Coaching applications are rigorous with very high standards, which supports our mission to create workplaces that are joyful, prosperous, and sustainable.

Scrum and agile principles can be easy to learn and difficult to master. Scrum Alliance helps practitioners improve their skills by providing access to professional advice from an exclusive community of Coaches and Trainers through an Ask an Expert feature.
The Ask an Expert feature is part of the Comparative Agility Personal Improvement (PI) Tool and is available to active Certified ScrumMasters and Certified Scrum Product Owners. Ask an Expert lets CSMs and CSPOs interact with Trainers and Coaches and ask them questions about Scrum and agile.
The Ask an Expert feature allows for discussion of complex questions in a confidential and secure setting. The Coaches and Trainers who answer the questions are volunteer experts from the Scrum Alliance community.
CSMs and CSPOs can also discuss questions publicly and engage with the wider CSM and CSPO community through the Community Board in the PI Tool.
