Denver, CO,—SCRUM ALLIANCE®, the largest, most established and influential professional membership organization and certifying body in the Agile community, announces it has officially opened its global headquarters office in Denver.

“We are thrilled to now have a physical office located just north of Denver in Westminster. This is a big step for Scrum Alliance and signifies our organization’s steadily increasing growth over the past few years,” said Harvey Wheaton, Scrum Alliance Chairman of the Board. “We have more than 400,000 members worldwide and felt we needed a place to call home. Denver was a natural choice.  Many of our staff already live here and it is an easy place to get to from anywhere around the world.”

This is the first time Scrum Alliance has had a physical office and demonstrates the organization’s increasing scale and ambition as it seeks to guide organizations to be prosperous and sustainable through the use of Scrum.

“We started with a staff of only four people just a few years ago. Now, we have a staff of 22 and are adding to that each month. We just hired a new CEO, and we are adding new products and services for our members this year too. We have a lot going on and felt now was the appropriate time to get the team into one main office to start collaborating and using Scrum practices more effectively,” Wheaton said.

The Westminster Chamber of Commerce will help open the office in an official ribbon-cutting ceremony April 14, 2015, at 5 p.m. at Scrum Alliance’s Global Headquarters at 7401 Church Ranch Boulevard, Suite #210, Westminster, CO 80021.
