Scrum Alliance, the largest, most established and influential professional membership organization and certifying body in the Agile community, announces its Berlin Global Gathering is sold out. 600 participants from around the world will be attending this event in late September in Berlin, Germany.
“Global Gatherings are held twice per year; once in the United States in the spring and once again in Europe in the fall. The location of the Global Gatherings changes each year to allow as many people as possible the chance to be a part of, and experience one of these truly inspiring events. However, once you have been to a Global Gathering you will note that location has little bearing; participants travel from around the world to attend. It is the only event I have ever been a part of where participants are engaged from sun up, to sun down, for the duration of the event. The enthusiasm is contagious!” said Scrum Alliance’s Managing Director Carol McEwan. “The excitement has been building for Berlin for a long time and I am very excited to get there and share the in the experiences.
The purpose of Global Gatherings is to offer practitioners worldwide the opportunity to come together to share their passion and knowledge of Scrum and Agile practices. Attendees will hear presentations from experts in the field who will inspire them with stories of success, current implementation best practices, and creative applications of the Scrum framework
. Participants also get the chance to meet people from around the world who share a passion and drive to deliver better business results. Attendees share experiences, gain new insights, and return home to their work teams energized and ready to reach the next level. Attendees can also earn Category A SEUs toward their CSP certification
by attending these events.
One of the highlights at this Global Gathering is keynote speaker Richard Sheridan. Sheridan is author of the bestselling book ‘Joy Inc.’ about how he led his company to make significant work environment changes and cultural shifts that grew their organization and profits in a short time. These changes helped make his Ann Arbor, Michigan company very profitable and listed as one of the best places to work in the United States for the past several years.
“I first heard Richard Sheridan speak at the Global Gather New Orleans, earlier this year and was inspired. I also had the opportunity to visit his company in Ann Arbor and it was amazing to see what he has been able to do there. What he teaches his teams to do really works. He has proven happy people are extremely productive people and that this type of work is sustainable in a real world environment. He is very engaging with the audience and the personal experiences he shares are ones that everyone can relate to. He is an inspiration to those he meets and speaks to on a regular basis and I was thrilled when he agreed to be a keynote at the GLOBAL GATHERING® Berlin,” McEwan said.
