DENVER — Scrum Alliance®, the largest, most established and influential professional membership organization and certifying body in the Agile community, announced that its Global Scrum Gathering® in Munich will feature the topic, “Agile in Human Resources Management” at its Executive Forum Monday, October 17, 2016.

Professor Dr. Armin Trost will present “The New Future of Agile Human Resource Management” to established business executives and CEOs in attendance.

“Scrum Alliance is excited to host these Executive Forums where executives and CEOs can meet each other and discuss important topics like this one, said Manny Gonzales, Scrum Alliance CEO. “We are seeing Agile moving out of the software and IT departments, and Human Resources is one of the places it is seeing great success in organizations. We know that the world is changing, and so too are the ways people do their work. We want to help introduce these Agile in HR principles and values to companies with a determination to innovate and evolve to meet the new demands of the future of work.”

Professor Dr. Armin Trost is an industrial and organizational psychologist with a doctoral degree in philosophy. He lectures and researches at the HFU Business School in Furtwangen, Germany, focusing primarily on the future of leadership and organization in times of digitization and organizational agility.

“Classic post-pray-and-select kind of recruiting is over. Performance appraisal as we know it is over,” said Professor Trost. “Classroom training is over. Static, bureaucratic top-down talent management is over.”

More than 600 people from around the world will be attending the Global Scrum Gathering in Munich, which offers business leaders, managers, corporations, and practitioners worldwide the opportunity to share their passion and knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices that are transforming the world of work.

To continue to demonstrate its global impact, Scrum Alliance hosts three Global Gatherings per year. To learn more about Global and Regional Gatherings, please visit www.scrumalliance.org.
