Our Team

We are a small non-profit with a big mission. Our cross-disciplinary Scrum teams are structured for service. Each team is focused on a specific user persona, ensuring that everyone in our diverse, global community can find their place in the larger story of the agile movement. Wherever you are on your agile journey, one of our teams is dedicated to creating content and features that meet your needs.

The Foundational Team

The Foundational team focuses on those who are just begining their agile journey, including recent CSM, CSPO, and CSD certificate holders. The team serves this community by providing valuable information, creating a place of engagement, and fostering a sense of belonging.

Steve Nelson

When Steve isn't creating valuable user stories or thinking up his next dad joke to tell at a Sprint Review, he's probably working out or making hard boiled eggs.

TJay Gerber

scrum master

Legend has it that, when he’s not ScrumMastering and being the all-knowing certification expert, TJay can be found skiing or scuba diving with sharks at the Denver Aquarium.

Kim Millard

support specialist

Kim is a ray of sunshine who supports our Scrum community with that certain type of professional humor that makes everyone feel better. Plus, she’s always up for a celebration.

Brandon Kelley

VISUAL designer/

We call him “Brandin’ Brandon” because he is a lover of all things brand and UX/UI. He also loves LOTR. He’s rumored to be pretty good at Muay Thai kickboxing too.

John Kropka

Software engineer

If there’s a computer bug that needs squashing or new feature to be created, call on John K. He’s our super Rails application guru and resident lover of horses.

Ceyonce Escamilla

content marketer

If you picked up a book about CeyoncĂ©, the table of contents would include: “Magazine Addict”; “Disney Diva”; “Social Champion”; and “The Right to Write”.

Harmony Jones

digital marketer

Harmony runs data-driven marketing experiments to gain insights into what type of content resonates with users. When that’s not happening, she’s playing piano and herding cats.
