After the successful delivery of a complex program at Avios, I was thrilled, excited and motivated to find another dimention to add to my Agile experience. I joined Veolia, UK in Feb 2012 as Scrum Master with responsibilities to transition the orgnisation in Agile way of working while building the in-house development teams from scratch, devising Agile ways of working with external product and technology suppliers. I am continuing my positon at this place currently and learning something new every day. Afterall it's all about Inspect and Adapt while pursuing for continous improvement.

Scrum Master at Avios (client of NIIT Technologies)

April 2011-February 2012

In April 2011, I moved onto work as Scrum Master for The Mileage Company now Avios Group (British Airways subsidiary) to begin another exciting and challenging Agile journey. Initially I was managing 3 scrum teams and by Aug 2011 moved onto Lead Scrum Master / Development Manager role - managing 8 scrum teams (with scrum master for each team) having around 60 resources working on approx. 20-25 projects of various sizes, delivered across onshore-offshore model. I started Scrum of Scrums to faciliate cross teams, cross projects dependacy discussion, impediments removal etc. The overall program (3 organisations and between them a total of approx. 45 projects) went live in Nov 2011 followed by regular enhancements and high priority fixes.

Technical Design Lead / Scrum Master at British Airways (client of NIIT Technologies)

My Agile journey started in May 2009 while working as Technical Design Lead in British Airways. I started my first Agile project that time and we were supported by an external Agile consulting through a 4 week enablement program. Though technology was my first passion till then, I immediately found my passion towards Agile & Scrum method. We delivered multiple projects required by business to achieve its strategic and business goals using Agile & Scrum.We soon expanded the adoption of Agile methds to support & maintenance projects and then across onshore-offshore delivery model as well. I was part of an Agile community within British Airways and delivered a number of Agile overview sessions and enabled other teams in Agile transition while also delivering Scrum Master sessions to other project managers, project leads.
