Starting life in IT at the tender age of 17 as a Programmer/Analyst for a small software company I moved to a major Bank in 1988 to work as an Information Architect then Business Analyst using Information Engineering, CASE tools and top-down methodologies. I then moved to Scotland in 1994 to join a provider of Telco Billing software as a PM during which time I started to become interested in alternative management methods related to software engineering. After experimenting there with Scrum-like approaches I then joined a small software house in 2003 where, as Engineering Manager, I was able to experiment more with various agile techniques. I know work for Bright Grey as a Senior Project Manager and am involved in project delivery of various styles. I'm current using agile to deliver a non-IT change programme.
