Ralph Miarka: I obtained a PhD in Formal Methods from the University of Kent (UK) in 2002. I worked for Siemens AG Austria from 2005 to 2009. In 2006 I became a CSM and I have lead several projects according to Scrum since. I wrote a short column for an article by Jutta Eckstein published in the Cutter IT Journal on how we used Scrum in an distributed environment.
I promoted Scrum at Siemens IT Solutions and Services SDE. In December 2007 I became a CSPO.
In February 2008 I became the project leader for defining an agile method based on Scrum but tailored for the needs of SIS SDE. I provided a large number of Scrum trainings within this organisation.
In October 2009 I left Siemens and since January 2010 I am an independent Scrum coach, consultant and trainer. I coached and trained several Scrum teams across different organizations.
In November 2009 I lead a moderation workshop at XP Germany.
Currently I coach several Scrum teams at an international company, being part of a large Scrum transitioning project.
