I have been a practicing Scrum professional for 7 years. I started in the healthcare information industry scrumming various teams from IT to translation to publishing. This first experience showed me how scrum DOESN"T work when it is not supported by management and roles and responsibilities are vague and not empowered.

I have been fortuantely to move to a company that truly believes in the values of the framework and the fundamentals. We started with 3 IT teams working with scrum. At this time, we have 16 teams who are organized in the scrum framework to prioritize and focus their work. We have expanded our implementation beyond IT into our Enterprise groups including Merchandising, Marketing and Site Optimizatioin. We have teams co-located in Costa Rica who scrum with their Product Owners over a very effective video conferencing system. I have a passion for training teams and coaching them into a highly productive state. Training new teams and working with amazing teams is my favorite part of this job. The Agile fundamentals are so intuitive and logical; it is so rewarding to give teams these tools to be successful.I love empowering teams with the Agile values, allowing our company to provide industry leading technology and helping people meeting their fitness and nutrition goals.
