Scott Madden - I am a native of South Carolina, though I have lived in Atlanta, Georgia for the past 20 years.  I studied Financial Management at Clemson and received a Masters degree in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.  My career has been in software development focusing on applications which support electric and gas utilities (financial planning, operations & decision support, and b2b commerce).

I was first introduced to agile in 2001 and begin practicing it with my teams in 2009.  In my current role as Director of Operational Excellence, I serve as an Coach for development teams within my organization that are transitioning to Agile.  My goal in promoting Agile and Scrum is to help development teams improve quality and on-time delivery while fulfilling the demands of their stakeholders.
