Aki Namioka has been an advocate for Agile development since 2003. In 2004, she co-authored an OOPSLA Practioners Report called "Extreme ISO?!?", which is available on the ACM Digital Portal. She is delighted that after several years of acting like a Scrum Master, she is finally "certified".
Aki is currently a Manager of Software Development at Marchex - an organization that is passionate about Agile.
In previous lives she has worked at Cisco, Active Voice, IBM Global Services, and the Advanced Technology Center at Boeing Computing Services. She has also served as Panels Chair for OOPSLA 2009 and SPLASH/OOPSLA/Onward! 2010.
