Bill Li, Scrum & Agile & Project Management trainer, consultant & coach active in China & Canada, Managing Principal of UPerform Consulting Group. Prior to UPerform, he was a Director at Cyberway 21PM Group (a Project Competency Consulting Company). Before that, he practiced the art of Project Management and Application Development in Information Technology Group of Rogers Communications Inc. in Toronto, Canada. With Rogers for over 6 years, he was in charge of or involved in development and implementation projects of its Billing Datawarehousing, Business Intelligence, Decision Support Systems and Reporting Portal. Before that, Bill was Program Manager and Senior Consultant with Unisys China, leading the team of its Telecom Business Solution. He managed and led the implementation of the first commercial Chinese short-message platform at China Mobile in 1996.
Bill was certified as CSM by Ken Schwaber, co-creator of Scrum in USA. He translated the most significant book of Scrum written by Ken into simplified Chinese and published it in 2007 (Agile Project Management with Scrum, co-translated Ken's next book on Scrum & Enterprise and Mike Cohn’s User Stories Applied, together with other 2 titles in Project Management area. Bill was also an active participant and contributor to Global Project Performance-based Competence Standards (Developed by GAPPS). Bill is MBA from Schulich School of Business, York University, and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and he lives in Shanghai, China and Vancouver, BC, Canada.
