Torgeir Lyngstad is an experienced Product Owner, Development Manager and Project Manager.  I have worked in the area of Enterprise Content Management for the last 15 years.  I started out my career as a developer of oil and gas well simulation systems, and then - more or less by chance - came across a job involving Enterprise Content Management, which has become my main area of expertise.  In ECM, I started out as an application specialist and presales consultant for an ECM suite.  After a few years building experience and expertise, I changed jobs as I wanted to be closer involved with product developmen, and became Product Manager for a company that developed their own ECM suite.  I stayed in that company for more than 10 years, and in the process became the CTO of the  company, overseeing all product development and product strategy activities.  This is where I first came in touch with Agile principle, as we successfully introduced a combination of MSF Agile and Scrum in our development team, and I wowed to never go back to waterfall-style development cycles.  When the company was aquired by our biggest competitor, and I was told "we want you to stay on, and BTW, your first task will be to as quickly as possible replace your product family with ours", I decided there must  be better things to do with my life than destroying that which I had used more than 10 years to help build.  I am know working as a senior advisor and consultant in Ciber, lending my experience and expertise to clients implementing or developing ECM solutions, often using agile methods, particularly Scrum.
