I am an agile coach currently working for a consortium of large companies. I have been writing software for decades, working in agile environments for the past 4 years. I have been a player/coach in two prior environments, big old Microsoft and little old TeleAtlas.

I recently helped with the Certified Scrum Coach program effort.

My current activities are focused on agile adoption programs at several large companies.

My favorite  agile coaching activity is training people in Test Driven Development and automated acceptance testing.

One goal of self-empowered teams is to have the team find, own, and fix their problelms by themselves. Applying gap analysis to team practices enables teams to visualize areas of concern and come up with their own action plan to address the shortcomings.
