Arjan van Waay has studied marketing but changed to software development and consultancy before he really got involved in the marketing of products and services.

Arjan has been working as a programmer since 1986. His programming skills are DataFlex, extended with Delphi for Windows projects and PHP for internet projects.

The first decade of this century, Arjan has been involved in many consultancy projects for fundraising organisations and managing software developers and developer teams. While managing teams, he became interested in better team organisation methods and choose to start using Scrum.
