Mr. Ouellette graduated from University of New Brunswick in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Computer Science. In 1995 he received his Certified Management Consultant designation from the Institute of Certified Management Consultant of Ontario and in 2007 he completed his Masters Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) from Carleton University. In 2007 he also received his PMP designation from the Project Management Institute, followed by his Certification in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in 2009.

He is currently a partner with IT/net Ottawa, a prominent consulting firm in management and technology, overseeing all activities in the Enterprise Solution, Business Intelligence, Application Integration and Portal branch. He has over 30 years in IT with the past 15 years focusing on the implementation and ongoing support of shared solutions, specifically with the major Enterprise Resource Planning applications.
