Dominique Stender made his hobby a profession and that probably was the best thing that ever happened to him.
He's writing software for as long as he can think, starting with a Commodore C64, typing the source code listings off of weekly magazines from the book store.
Studying IT after school was the logical choice, but it kept him interested only for one year. He decided to learn about dot-clouds in n-dimensional space when needed, thanks. Probably never required. Instead he embrace the practical side of software development and consulting: Getting the job done in the most elegant way possible, with as little code as possible - keeping the code readable at the same time.
Dominique believes that software development is an art form. We should thrive for elecance in simplicity.
Born a German, he's in India since a year now. No plans to move back any time soon, if work permits.
Dominique is detail driven. Curious. Opinionated. Playful.
'System Architect' is on Dominiques business card but the job involves managing people and schedules alike. Doing Scrum. Prototype development, graphical design if he thinks he has to.
