Henning Jansen has been a Systems Engineer and Systems Architect for 12 years in the field of control systems, information systems, related to Drilling and recently in Seismic Geology & Geophysics in Oil & Gas. He is a Principal Engineer in his field of industry, participating in Joint Industry Projects and international standardization efforts. A strong interest in programming and software engineering has brought him across fields of real-time control systems, information systems, data management systems, data modeling and data exchange standards for Integrated Operations in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. In his previous employment with National Oilwell Varco, Henning was actively involved in introducing & mentoring SCRUM in a department with 25 developers. In his current employment with Schlumberger Information Solutions, Henning is mentoring and being part of a small team starting up a pilot SCRUM oriented process in the Ocean for Petrel group within Schlumberger. On his spare time, Henning is a dedicated Ruby programmer, working on pet projects such as an implementation of the www.witsml.org standard. |
