Henning Jansen has been a Systems Engineer and Systems Architect for 10 years in the field of control systems, information systems, for drilling upstream Oil & Gas. He is a Senior Engineer in his field of industry, participating in Joint Industry Projects and international standardization efforts.

A strong interest in programming and software engineering has brought him across fields of realtime control systems, information systems, data management systems, data modelling and data exchange standards for Integrated Operations in the upstream Oil & Gas industry.

 For the past 24 months, Henning has been involved in introducing SCRUM in a departement with 25 developers. On his spare time, Henning is a dedicated Ruby programmer, working on pet projects such as an implementation of the www.witsml.org standard.
