Stephan Kämper studied physics at the Universities of Bonn and Osnabrück and wrote his diploma thesis about solid state physics and holography, changed subject within physics and joined an oceanography group at the University of Bremen.
In 2001 he started working in the software development business by joining the testing team for an object-oriented database system. Since then he never left software testing, specialized in automated software tests and added agile methods to his tools when he attended an XP workshop held at the university of applied sciences in Wedel, Northern Germany. He signed the Agile Manifesto in September 2004.
Since then he worked on topics as diverse as precision navigation systems, micro payment transaction platforms, healthcare related systems and telecommunication.
Apart form being a certified ScrumMaster Stephan is a ISTQB certified tester as well. He's currently developing a test automation environment intended for integration and system testing.
Furthermore he's looking for a new project, preferably a project where he can combine Scrum and his considerable knowledge in software testing.
