Started in agricultural engineering (B.S. and M.S.) as a research engineer and wrote C for instrumentation and controls including some image processing.   Left the public university arena to join an engineering led startup to manage and develop the IT area of the company.  Gradually, I stopped developing directly and performed more project management.  I earned my PMP in 2004.  I think I have managed projects with an agile (little a) approach most of my career.  I am looking forward to using more of the big A and Scrum frameworks!  I'm still in IT and manage projects ranging from off the shelf application implementations to custom web development.
