Mark Wilson was born and raised in southwestern Michigan.  After graduating college he worked as a programmer for State Farm Insurance Companies in Illinois for 5 years before getting tired of the cold and moving south to join Wachovia Bank.  Mark has now been with Wachovia for over 11 years playing several various roles from developer, to technical lead, to solutions architect.  He has specialized in distributed technologies such as Java, SOA, web and middleware platforms and has experience leading diversified teams at multiple levels with an emphasis on Agile methodologies.
