The first subject is focused on the W3C recommendations, teaching the students how to build cross-browser compatible static websites dividing it in 3 layers: appearance (CSS), content (XHTML/XML) and behavior (JavaScript) as well as the details on how the HTTP protocol works (IETF - RFC 2616).

The second subject teaches the students to build high-level web applications using model-view-controller methodology with Microsoft.NET technology and resources such as AJAX, Web Services, RESTful Services and multiple database access.
