Christoph Oberle is working in the field of software engineering since about 1990. Databases and Information systems are the constants in his business life. Starting in a small software company creating information systems for big companies based on MVS and TSO he worked on a OO sales application based on OS2 PM and C++. In 1995 he led the development of design tools for product and workflow design as well as the corresponding run-time environments. From 2000 on he was responsible for the software development of a Life Insurance company. As a member of the GDV, the German association of Insurance companies, he defined B2B communication standards for insurers and brokers. He has experience in migration projects concerning both databases and hardware migrations. Since 2005 intercultural aspects (british - german) have rounded up his profile. As Manager IT Business Applicatons he has started to use agile methods in his team.Later he used Agile methods as Head of Standardization of BiPRO to establish B2B standards in the German insurance industry. CSM since 2009, CSP since 2012. Besides Scrum he is interested in semantic methods for information retrieval (like OWL ontologies and reasoners). Currently he is working as a Scrum Consultant and helps companies with setting up and coaching Scrum teams.
