Lead a team in the development of a new platform known as Maestro and the development of the first set of applications that use this platform. Maestro is comprised of a set of components known as Widgets. These Widgets follow a pattern that allows them to be consumed by web applications developed in any language. Widgets use events to allow consuming applications easily interact with them. The Widgets are integrated with existing Comcast services like Customer Search, Device Diagnostics and Customer Ticket information. A modified agile approach is being used that integrates with the Comcast delivery schedule. An outline of our approach is: Technical Designs are delivered, Development lead works with development team to develop individual tasks, Tasks are estimated by the team and entered into TFS, Daily standup meetings have developers report remaining hours on their tasks. • Project status is reported using sprint and product burn down charts.

Lead a global team in the development of software solutions using an agile approach. The team consisted of over one hundred employees in Hyderabad, India and twenty employees in the US. Responsible for a dozen simultaneous projects. Worked with the sales team to include an agile approach to software delivery in the sales process. Developed a set of best practices and coding standards for .NET, Java and Quality Assurance. A set of corresponding checklists allow Prime project managers to review each standard and adapt them to the specific needs of individual projects. Implemented test driven development on multiple projects. Developed TDD lab and presented at the Philadelphia .NET User Group’s Code Camp.
