Started out as an Economist and quickly discovered the joys of computers for giving you vital information.  Joined Compex Ltd in 1984 as a Help Desk operator on ICL System 25s (anyone else out there old enough to remember those?) Did loads of different things, but ended up testing as I'm a big critic and always able to find things that are wrong.  Moved to Respond in 1997 as their first independent tester and progressed the function and department before leaving to a team of 7 and a job title of Director of Quality (very grand!).  Following redundancy, made the move over to Cambridge and have been at i2 since 2003 fighting the good testing fight.   We have been moving teams over to Agile since 2007 and are just about completed - I'm a total convert!
