Gary Wise. 

Graduated from Queen Mary College, London with Astrophysics BSc.  in 1987. 

Started my first job with Lyons Computer Services, subsidiary of Allied Lyons, Nov 87, programming 1st generation x86 pcs using DBase III and Clipper - Sales Order Processing system, Company Records system, Charities Adminstration system.

Second job with Centre-file, IT company wholly owned by NatWest Bank, started in 1991.  Client-server development using Visual Basic (from version 1 to 3) connecting to Sybase on Unix, then later SQL Server on Windows.  Did front-end programming, database design and stored procedures.  Various internal banking systems.

Third job was programming for a small company PPSL using VB versions 4 to 6 and Oracle database.  Started in 1995.  Wrote Land Charges and Planning Application systems for local government.  Incorporated GIS mapping components.  Took on technical team leading responsibility.  Made client visits for installation and trouble-shooting.

Next job started in 2000 for start-up Earthport as a hands-on team leader involved with developing and maintaining an Internet payment system using VB 6 and SQL Server.  Company was affected by IT crash in 2001.

December 2001 started at current company, i2 Limited, as VB/SQL Server developer on an Intelligence Database system sold as COTS product to Police and Military worldwide.  Also used Analysis Services 2000 and 2005.  Became development team leader and then subsequently Development Manager in 2007.
