Brian M. Rabon, CST, PMP is an IT professional with over 14 years of industry experience. Brian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Auburn University and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Information Engineering and Management program.

Brian is President of The Braintrust Consulting Group, a provider of complete project management services for a wide range of software related projects. Braintrust blends People, Process, Tools, and Training into one seamless formula in order to help their clients break through roadblocks, improve processes, meet deadlines, and exceed goals.

In addition, Brian loves teaching and is an Adjunct Instructor at University of Alabama at Birmingham where he leads clients of the Information Engineering and Management Masters Degree Program on an exciting journey through the world of Business Process Modeling and Technical Project Management. Brian also is a contract instructor for ASPE, New Horizons, Rally, Version One and many other quality organizations.

When not in the classroom, Brian can be found around the globe evangelizing the benefits of agile and traditional project management to the likes of the many Project Management Institute’s chapters and the Scrum Alliance’s Scrum Gatherings. Brian is an avid author, writing for organizations such as ASPE (http://www.aspe-sdlc.com/blog) and The Business Journals. Brian gives back to the community by serving on the Board of Directors for TechBirmingham, as Speaker Coordinator for PMI Birmingham, and as the founder of Agile Birmingham.
