Acting as a Scrum Master it was my task to help a newly formed team to find together and coach the members to adopt the ways and the spirit of Scrum. The team members had been used to a very strict command and control type of leadership and thus had difficulties to grasp the freedom they were suddenly given. This was a challenge for me too and I learned a lot about Scrum and about people.

As a Scrum Master in a newly found team it was up to me make the team members comfortable with Scrum and to coach them to making the best out of it. The team members consisted of people just coming from university who hadn't been spoiled by other project management approaches. It was easy for the team to get going and the process felt natural to all of us.
