The remit also included: • Defining ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ scenarios process charts through information gathering and UML diagrams. • The research and design of an eCommerce solution and the definition of selection criteria for selecting software vendors. • Writing an implementation schedule so ensuring relevant ecommerce activities are completed within agreed timescales. • Creating a Product Backlog and assisting with estimating and the assigning of tasks.

Other remits included the managing and mentoring of the IT department’s team of ICT professionals, researching, sourcing and introducing new technologies which maximised the utilisation of resources while also reducing the companies operating costs and capital expenditure.
