Michel de Champlain

I am currently chief scientist in DeepObjectKnowledge. The company provides object-oriented mentoring/coaching and is the main sponsor of the B# programming language for small footprint embedded systems. I hold a Ph.D. degree in software engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. I have over 30 years of programming experience, including 20 years working with C++, 13 years with Java, and 7 years in C#. I have been teaching object technologies since 1988 and have already trained thousands of people throughout eastern Canada, the United States, Europe, and in New Zealand (spent 3 wonderful years downunder at University of Canterbury).

My previous position was Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University. I have an industrial background as well as an academic background. I always worked in close collaboration with the industry.

I am also main partner in Technologia. The company providing object-oriented training in eastern Canada.

I am also the creator of the B# programming language, built for today's embedded system developer in mind.
