Anja Kroll has been an IT professional for more than two decades now. She started as an application user, and soon switched sides, because she wanted to improve the software she used. During her studies she earned her living writing manuals, testing and coding. She got her diploma in computer science with A grades. Next steps were database administration and real time system development.

During these days as a developer in the 1990s, she often dreamed of a taskboard... a taskboard that shows the most important tasks, that shows who is working on what issue, that shows what is completed, and what is not...

Some more years saw her successfully managing different teams and projects. Joining Ergon Informatik in 2007, working in agile projects with Scrum finally became reality.
