Consultant Project Manager, I initially worked in a CMMI 3 Waterfall organisation and has since then moved to Agile. I benefit from my past experience, including being APM certified, to be better organised to implement and track Agile projects.

I ran my first project in Feb 08 for a client which I am helping to transition another 2 projects from Waterfall to Agile, mainly inspired by Mike Cohn's training course (and using poker planning every time!).

Having worked in a CMMI 3 level organisation, I think the issue with CMMI is not CMMI itself but the culture of the people implementing it being too rigid: they lack of business awarness and they write processes without common sense and understand...
