Phillip Cave is passionate about processes.....processes that help the team succeed that is.  Phillip believes that Agile PM frameworks such as Scrum combined with an understanding of Lean principles enable an excellent process for software and IT teams to succeed in delivering value to their customers.  Phillip enjoys teaching and coaching teams on how to execute well.  He enjoys taking his 18+ years of experience in such roles as a business analyst, software developer (product development as well as IT support), project manager, technology manager, and executive management (at two software product companies) and using that experience to serve his teams.  Software development is both challenging and fun.  It is even more fun when we have a process that allows us to interact with our customers to understand and drive value.  Phillip enjoys coaching companies to understand the entire value stream (from customer request through delivery) and thus has experience with one on one, team, and senior management coaching to drive Agile practices from the Portfolio to the Team.

Phillip was always seeking something in all his many roles.  What he discovered was that he was always seeking to help his team members succeed.  Ultimately this is fulfilled by teaching and coaching others.  Thus, Phillip is a Principle Consultant at a Pacific Northwest consulting firm that specializes in Agile coaching and delivery.
