Darryn Cromwell, MEDecision, Inc., has more than 20 years of software development experience in the public and private healthcare industry.  Darryn joined the Model Development department in November of 2005 as part of the development team supporting company’s the Collaborative Data Exchange services. As a member of this development group, he is currently part of a team responsible for the re-architecting of the core legacy products.  The project is utilizing domain driven design and agile methodologies which entails the decoupling of the product’s business tier from the database engine and building out a multi-layered database independent software application.

Prior to moving to MEDecision’s Model Development department, Darryn joined MEDecision in August of 2000 as a Systems Analyst within the Client Operations department.  He was the technical lead within the Client Development group on all customer EDI/interface implementations for the suite of MEDecision products.  He worked closely with business analysts and customers during the requirements and analysis phase of an installation project to provider interface solutions for the 50+ existing customers and newly contracted customers.

From 1988 – 2000, Darryn worked as a Senior Programmer/Analyst for Allan Collautt Associates, a professional business entity committed to assisting organizations that administer the delivery of public welfare services to those who need it.  Here he participated in the implementation of software products and consultation services to support public health governmental agencies.

Darryn holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Computer Science from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  More recently, he completed his Master of Sciences in Computer Information Science from LaSalle University. In 1999, Darryn considered expanding his technical knowledge to further his career.  LaSalle’s reputation, the curriculum of the degree program, the convenience of the Bucks County Campus, and his undergraduate experience made this program an easy choice.  Together, with his wife, Mary, of nine years, enjoy raising and caring for their eighteenth month old twins, Nolan and Erin Cromwell.
