Gia is a Project Management professional with over 20 years experience working in software development for the healthcare industry. 

Gia started as a COBOL programmer for Shared Medical Systems in 1989, working on such applications as Patient Accounting and INVISION Clinicals.  Gia also held the role of Project Leader within the INVISION organization.  With Siemens Medical, Gia became a Test Designer for the Soarian Clinicals product, and eventually advanced to the position of Test Manager for the EDM/Soarian HIM product.

Gia is currently an MBA candidate at Penn State Great Valley.  Gia has a Bachelor's of Arts in Communications from Cabrini College graduating Magna Cum Laude, a Certificate in Mainframe Programming from The Chubb Institute, and a Certificate in Client/Server Applications Development from Penn State Great Valley.  Gia earned CSM certification in October 2007, and PMP certification in July 2008.  Gia won an alumni award for Community Service from Cabrini College in June 2007.
