I am a Certified Scrum Master and Professional with experience helping organizations small and large to adopt and fine-tune their Scrum practices in software development, BI, R&D, and marketing projects. My varied experiences as a product owner, Scrum Master, and in-the-trenches as a researcher, functional designer, and QA tester have enabled me to examine Scrum and its benefits from many angles.

I bring unique perspectives from my background in linquistics and intercultural communications to our understanding of Scrum principles and practices and development of team dynamics. Beyond Scrum, my experiences as a sailing and swimming coach/instructor inform my approach to teaching and sharing specialized skills and knowledge.

My goals as a Scrum Master are to build inspired and hyperproductive teams and to spread understanding and commitment to Agile principles throughout the organization. I enjoy the challenge of spreading the values and benefits of Scrum beyond the confines of development and fitting Scrum best practices to the diverse needs and requirements of various products, projects, and teams.
