I am essentially a PM, in an environment where Scrum is being practised but has not been adopted with any anger as yet, as such job roles still exist as they would have done previously.  In my role I take on some of the aspects of the ScrumMaster role as well as getting involved in some of the Product Owner roles (realising that essentially there are a number of conflicts of interest occuring but not really having much of a choice).

Both of the courses I have been on have appeared very much "idealogical" to me and maybe not truly representative of how a truly global multi-national corporare might generally operate - we certainly don't.
