Eric Burke is a technology management professional whose engineering and Big-4 consulting background forms an excellent foundation for his work in IT project management, program management and software product management/marketing. Eric has over twenty years of professional experience, with a blend of both consulting and direct product management roles. Currently with Slalom Consulting, Eric specializes in assisting organizations understand and adopt Agile and Lean principles as part of their modern project and program management practices.

Previously, as the VP of Marketing at SolutionsIQ Eric worked closely with sales and professional services leadership team to position SolutionsIQ as the leader in Agile consulting and training. Before SolutionsIQ, Eric was the director of product marketing with Pacific Edge Software (acquired by Serena Software) where he led the development of an innovative, maturity-based approach to implementing project portfolio management (PPM). It was at Pacific Edge that Eric was first introduced to Scrum in 2002. Prior to Pacific Edge, Eric worked as a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting and before that as a software engineer with Northrop Grumman. 

Eric's consulting project experience includes product release management, website development, system integration, software selection, and implementation. His enterprise software experience includes product positioning, pricing, strategy, sales training, sales enablement, marketing and sales process automation, lead generation, channel marketing, alliances, and Agile marketing operations. He is an experienced scrum master and Certified Scrum Product Owner.  Eric earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and an MBA from the University of Washington.
