PROJECT: LISTSOURCE, MAT
MAT (Multi-Application Team)
MAT is a collection of multiple applications (ListSource, REISource and Customer Center) combined for integrated handling and reduced dependency handling.
Role: Development Manager
Achievements:
• Was responsible for delivering major enhancements for SB133 customer release.
• Reduced defects to zero count for all applications
• Major Customer enhancements delivered on time
• Resource management
• Was involved in major process improvements so that all three products could be release as and when desired. Scrum process revisited.
• Release builds configured and major refractoring of code undertaken.
• Performance load test process configured and Cobertura reports configured.
• Initiated and was responsible for the enhanced release process and release checklist.
• Initiated the impact sheet to reduce dependencies between projects.
LISTSOURCE
ListSource is a Web-based solution that enables marketing professionals and mortgage brokers to create and manage target prospect lists for direct mail or telemarketing campaigns using the most up-to-date and accurate information.
Role: Associate Development Manager/Tech lead
Achievements:
• Was involved in designing, technology short listing, risk analysis, requirements gathering
• Was involved in breaking epics to measurable backlogs that can be taken in sprints.
• Co-ordination with dependent projects and reducing dependencies.
• Involved in coding, code reviews, database design, sql queries, stored procs, performance, Unit testing
• Was involved in designing implementation of mapping component using BING maps.
• Was involved in implanting RIA tools like YUI and DWR framework.
• Was involved in RE-LIST release and Foreclosure release. Two major milestones.
• Was involved in major integration with REISource and Customer Center application
• Was involved in creating the Admin modules and Developer page module for better application log tracking and better managing customer configurations
• Was majorly involved in the 11i migration and coordinating dependencies with other application
• Was involved in the CDS implementation
• Was involved in export reports in pdf, txt, xls, rtf, xml and .dbs format.
• Was instrumental in designing the Speciality lists in ListSource, a major search area of the application
• Was core in implementing the Ecommerce module and PayPal integrations.
• Initiated performance load test on the projects and configured code quality enhancement tools like PMD, checkstyle, IntelliJ static code analysis, cobertura reports, Junit test etc.
• Initiated local developer profiling test by YourKit profiler.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership of Assigned Functional Area (i.e. platform, product, services, etc)
o Collaborate with the Product Management and other relevant stakeholders to understand the product vision, short and long term goals and objectives, current challenges and risks, priorities etc.
o Owns the responsibility of software delivery of products, platforms, and services in terms of technology solutions, architecture and design, meeting development commitments, quality and cost in order to meet the goals, objectives and priorities of the Product Management team
o Establish cross-project standards and set expectations for quality, maintainability, flexibility, performance etc.
o Coding and conducting code reviews, endure code and release quality.
o Work with team and other stake holders on the technology and architecture and define standards and direction.
o Make sure the team follows agile process objectives like grooming, review, retrospectives, release planning, sprint planning, requirements gathering, proper verbal and written communications, follow ups, schedule releases and dependencies etc.
o Monitor and mentor the documentation process and standards being followed in order to ensure adequate knowledge retention
o Ensure proper release process.

o Define software development process, standards, best practices that are applicable across the projects and manage and monitor the application of those process, standards and best practices
o Research and Development – Direct and motivate the team on research activities on new technology trends and how to leverage those technologies to build more flexible and maintainable solutions
