Presently I'm the director of product management at Beatport, a niche online music store focused on the Electronic Dance Music market. At Beatport, I work directly with cross-functional software teams on our primary, customer-facing products, while also helping colleagues (VP of Operations, VP of Music Services) to understand and perform their role as Product Owners. 

Before moving to Colorado in March 2008, I spent 7 years working as a user experience designer, most recently as the lead designer for a large, on-site government contractor, working in the State Department. I began my career in the US Air Force as a software engineer.
