Luís Veigas has a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
He is a specialist in TELCO, Virtual Reality, Multimedia and Geographical Information Systems.
Luís started at Imersiva, a virtual reality-based company, and developed Portugal Digital for Expo98, GeoSapo, a map based site for the major Portuguese portal Sapo, and Ortofotos de Portugal for the CNIG Institute.
In 2002 he joined Novabase S.A. as a Team Leader, in the Business Intelligence unit, and gained invaluable experience in the Telcos area at PT Comunicações S.A.
In 2006 he moved to YDreams S.A, first as a Project Manager, and later as the Software Development Director, where he defined area procedures and methodologies, controlled all production and internal projects, and supported worldwide sales managers.
In 2011 he joined TIMWE as EMEAA Operations Manager, where is main focus, besides managing the IT team (both HQ as local teams), is to follow up and support all EMEAA regions and pre-sales teams.
