Rommel serves as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young's Financial Services practice with a focus on Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations utilizing Agile.  Prior to E&Y, Rommel was a manager for Deloitte Consulting and a Senior Project Manager/Functional Consultant within the Professional Services group at Guidewire Software.  Rommel has over 17 years of experience and specializes in project management, systems development and implementations, web development and enterprise application integration.

His specific areas of expertise include all phases of enterprise wide software implementations, business intelligence/report development, enterprise application integration, information systems analysis, technical architecture and design, web (Internet/Intranet) related technologies, and management of multi-disciplinary project teams consisting of client, consultant, and vendor team members.  Prior to joining Guidewire, he spent 4 ½ years with SMART Business Advisory & Consulting, L.L.C. as a Senior Manager overseeing IT related projects in the areas of CRM deployments, custom application development, report development, and application integration.  Prior to SMART, he spent 3 years with Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting practice focusing on CRM Implementations.  He also spent a year with Ciber Consulting working on NT Rollouts, web development, client/server development and help desk management, and six years with Prophet 21, a software provider for the wholesale distribution industry, working as a Senior Programmer/Analyst for their Software Development department.  Rommel received a M.B.A. in Computer Information Science from Temple University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, has met the Project Management Institute (PMI®) education, experience, and examination requirements to be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), and most recently established his ScrumMaster Certification as recognized by the ScrumAlliance.
