With more than 18 years in the Software Industry, I have held positions at nearly every level of successful organizations, from Software Engineering Manager for the Core Anti-Virus Engine Team at Symantec to Vice President of Engineering and Chief Architect of Vogo Networks/eGlobe Telecommunications. I have focused the last half of my career on organizational process optimization and have worked with a variety of methodologies, including formal waterfall, plan-driven development, TDD, RUP, XP and, of course, Scrum. In my role as the Head Agile Coach for MySpace.com, I was headquartered in Beverly Hills but had multi-site responsibilities throughout the organization.
Now on my own with RapidScrum.com, I conduct one day "Introduction to Scrum" training sessions to help get the entire company on the same page, and I follow up with Coaching and Consulting on a regular basis to guarantee that the organic growth of my clients' adoptions are moving in a healthy direction.
Having started with both Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner certifications, I am currently a Certified Scrum Practitioner working toward Trainer certification in 2009. Toward that end, I have been honored to work with Dr. Jeff Sutherland each quarter to arrange and conduct Scrum Master Certification courses in Beverly Hills, as well as consulting with companies in the Los Angeles area.
