I have about 24 years of experience in the IT industry, and over the years I have played multiple roles: programmer, designer, architect, project manager, business analyst, customer, end-user, coach, consultant, mentor, trainer, etc. By qualification, I am a science graduate, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Currently I am the CEO of Pragati Software Pvt Ltd (www.pragatisoftware.com), based in Mumbai, India. I regularly conduct training programs in the fields of agile methodologies, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, UML, Design Patterns, and Programming Logic.

I have been using agile methodologies for over five years now. I have conducted numerous training programs covering Scrum and Extreme Programming, for about 15 organizations in India. I also provide consulting services for agile adoption.

I have been a speaker at Agile India Conference 2006 in Bangalore, and Agile India Conference 2007 in Chennai.

Apart from computers, I am passionate about the ancient language Sanskrit, and the Vedas.
