Meg Stevens
Born and raised in the Silicon Valley, I spent some time in the icy tundras of Ithaca, NY and Evanston, IL for college before returning to settle in the Bay Area. I received my Multiple Subject (elementary) teaching credential and then pivoted to the private sector to work at an small internet company creating data analysis tools for educators to improve student achievement.
I first learned about product development through osmosis of the Waterfall approach. Having since learned about Scrum, it strikes me that being a good ScrumMaster is like being a good teacher: it ultimately comes down to knowing your team (or your students) and using relationships and knowledge of potential pitfalls to empower them to experiment, collaborate, and construct knowledge to become the best they can be.
