Dan has 20 years experience in high tech, most of those focused on driving adoption of emerging digital imaging and media solutions.  He began his career at Polaroid as a design engineer, contributing circuit designs and algorithms for signal processing, white balance and exposure sub-systems for a variety of digital camera prototypes and imaging systems.  He later moved to product marketing, where he helped launch the award-winning PDC-2000 digital camera. 

Dan moved to Intel in 1997 and joined the Intel Architecture Labs, where he served as the Intel representative to the fledgling Digital Imaging Group, focused on advancing Internet-friendly file formats and distribution protocols.  He served in a variety of roles at Intel, bringing low-bitrate video codecs and consumer media authoring and sharing solutions to market, primarily through third party licensing deals. 

His latest role is with Digimarc, as Product Manager for several digital watermarking products.  Specifically, Dan is focused on bringing watermarking SDKs to market and helping to ramp adoption of new "print-to-web" watermarking solutions for mobile phones.

 Dan is married with 2 young children.  In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, hiking and playing guitar.
