Leon is an Agile evangelist in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area, currently working at BCBSNC since 1997.

He was instrumental in the introduction of the first Agile/Scrum team at BCBSNC in 2008, where he acted in the ScrumMaster/Product Owner on team role.  In the very first year of the team's existence, the team delivered a 300% ROI.  He has been supporting the expansion of Agile teams at BCBSNC ever since.

Leon is a key influencer of Agile/Scrum adoption in the Triangle, being a member of Agile-RTP, Agile-ALN, NCPMI, PMI, Agile Alliance and the Scrum Alliance.

He is always on the lookout for opportunities to speed Agile adoption either locally or nationally.
