Mr. Caldwell is currently a principal with SAIC’s Defense Solutions Group where he provides program support and technical leadership for a large client managed service initiatives concerning the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) for the Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Caldwell’s career includes 22 years of naval service in the Telecommunications, Satellite Communications, and Computer Graphics fields. Since retiring in 2001, Ricky has over 10 years of private sector Information Technology industry experience with the last 3 years dedicated to Solutions Delivery Management, PMI, and Agile IT project management for the financial industry. He has significant experience in all aspects of IT customer support and has coordinated several large projects with a total value in excess of $900 million. This includes his contribution to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District Fiscal Year 2008 close-out of contract awards surpassing $976 million. A simple list of previous clients includes the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic, EDS Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NMCI), southeastern Virginia Naval Training Commands, Military Sealift Command, Capital One, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
